- http://www.gabbly.com (does not support IRC)
- http://www.peekko.com (seems nice)
- http://www.quick-chat.net (haven't tried yet)
- http://www.yakalike.com (haven't tried yet, does not support IRC)
- http://www.chatsum.com/ (more IM than chat, no IRC)
- http://www.yaplet.com/ (no IRC, runs in sidebar/frame, started from bookmarklet)

Ability to configure peekko to use whatever handles irc:// (i.e. chatzilla!) instead of the integrated irc client.

Showing # of users can be tricky - maybe support it just for a couple of known servers? (freenode, ircnet, etc)?
