Error message search

Error messages are often short and low on details about what's really going on.

It'd be nice to have some sort of community-maintained/wiki-like repository of explanations and troubleshooting tips.

In its simplest form, this would be a list of regexes matching error messages, and some metadata like short descriptions and URLs pointing to the explanation.

A simple browser could accept a list of error messages, and show matching explanations - preferably Opensearch-enabled.
